Daniel Baker
Dan is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SugarOak Holdings, Inc. and also serves as the President of Acquisitions for SugarOak Properties, LLC.
Dan is also responsible for the strategic direction of SugarOak, and has guided its transformation from a wholly transaction-based company to a full-service organization. He was instrumental in the involvement of SugarOak in its two initial funds (Union Land & Management Company and Coastal American Corporation) as well as expanding the services/capabilities of the company.
Dan has approximately 30 years of real estate experience, including significant experience in property acquisition and redevelopment activities. He continues to work with clients on strategic planning and value enhancement. Dan takes a lead role in the identification of acquisitions and has also sourced a number of fund investors.
Dan is President and Chairman of the Board of Union Land & Management Company and Coastal American Corporation.
Dan is a graduate of Harvard College. |

Thomas Donaldson
As President of SugarOak Holdings Inc, Tom is responsible for strategic direction and management of core services provided to subsidiaries.
As President of SugarOak Corporation, Tom is responsible for managing SugarOak’s award winning custom home construction business. He also manages the commercial development, redevelopment and tenant fit-up projects for SugarOak Management Services and SugarOak Properties.
His responsibilities include strategic planning and management of residential and commercial construction, with a focus on commercial development and redevelopment including repositioning and design of commercial assets.
Tom is a graduate of the University of Kentucky. |

Randall Kerr
Randy is President of SugarOak Management Services, LLC and is responsible for supervising asset, property and client corporate management services.
Randy’s 30 years of commercial real estate experience include leasing, management, investment and financing for a range of commercial property. He earned a Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management and is a real estate broker.
Randy is a graduate of the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce. |

Philip Nickles
Philip is the Vice President of Acquisitions for SugarOak Properties, LLC and is responsible for helping source acquisition targets, negotiating purchase agreements, coordinating due diligence, preparing financial models and arranging financing for new acquisitions. Philip joined SugarOak in 2000. He has closed on the acquisition and disposition of over $200 million in commercial real estate and has closed acquisition and refinance loans totaling over $100 million.
Prior to joining SugarOak, Philip was an Associate with Vinson & Elkins LLC.
Philip is a graduate of the University of Virginia, London School of Economics and the University of Texas School of Law. |
