Bernardine Cde Baca, CPM®
Bernardine, an accomplished real estate manager and banking professional with over 25 years experience, joined Sugar Oak in 2002 as an Asset Manager. She has managed more than 3 million square feet of real estate including office, retail, warehouse, executive suites, and outlet malls located across the United States.
She holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation, which is the real estate industry’s premier professional management designation awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM ®) She is an active member of the local Central Virginia IREM Chapter 38 and has been an Officer on the Executive Council for the past six years. She will be President Elect in the year 2010.
Bernardine is located in SugarOak’s Richmond office. Her responsibilities include financial management and analysis, (re)financing decisions, lease negotiations, capital improvement programs, asset management plans, third-party property management oversight, and investor/owner communications for properties located in Florida, Oklahoma, and Virginia. |

Christopher Daniels
Chris is responsible for the asset management, including property financial analysis, lease negotiations, lender underwriting and property inspections for a combination of office, retail, mixed-use and developmental properties in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Canada. Chris also manages the budgeting and forecasting for all of the commercial, retail, mixed-use, multi-family, condominium and land projects under management by SugarOak Management Services. Chris brings over 20 years of real estate experience including analysis, loan underwriting, appraisals and property management. Prior to joining SugarOak in 2003, Chris worked as an analyst for a REIT and as an analyst for one of the largest commercial and multi-family lenders in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. He is a graduate of the College of William & Mary with a bachelor’s degree in economics. |

Andrew Walsh
Since joining SugarOak in 2004, Andy Walsh has been the Asset Manager in charge of redeveloping a portion of SugarOak’s nationwide retail outlet portfolio. Andy has been responsible for all aspects of asset redevelopment, from the oversight of asset management and leasing, to acquisition and disposition analysis.
Prior to joining SugarOak, Andy managed Class A and B office assets in Washington DC and Northern VA for Equity Office Properties. Andy earned his BA in Economics from the University of Richmond and is currently a CCIM designee. |

Donald Schubring
Don is Director of Property Management for SugarOak Management Services managing the daily operations of eight commercial properties. These properties include office, retail, industrial flex and office condominium. He works closely with tenants, owners, and contractors to maintain all properties in excellent condition.
Don has been in property management for the past 16 years and has earned the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. Don has an MBA from Averitt University and a BA from Luther College. |
